January 2016, after signing the contract three months, SMC delivered 2 membrane nitrogen systems to a nitrogen service provider at Liaohe oilfield. Each device is driven by electric and on one skid, can transport by truck. Device specification: nitrogen flow of 450Nm³/h, purity of 97%, pressure of 35MPa, installed power of 230KW, dimension of L * W * H = 8.5 * 2.3 * 2.6 m. The major components include: SULLAIR electric driven compressor, US GERERON membrane, US GE booster etc. These NPU devices were tailored according to customer requirements, can use either on the ground or on the truck. To meet Northeast extreme high and low temperature environment, SMC conducted a number of specific design to ensure long-term stable operation in the wild.

In recent years, domestic oil fields use stimulation measures to increase oil production. The NPU devices driven by electric compared to diesel devices, the costs can be greatly reduced. So the electric driven NPU device will have a huge market in Xinjiang (Sinopec Northwest) and Liaohe Oilfield.
