In April 2014, relying on excellent technology strength, SMC Asia Gas Systems Co., Ltd-Chengdu had signed the contract with China Southern Metallurgy Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd for eight PSA Nitrogen Generation Plants, which would be installed in Gas Protection Station of Fangcheng Port Project owned by Guangxi Steel Group. Each plant can achieve 3000Nm³/h nitrogen gas with 99.9% purity and the total nitrogen flow can reach 24000Nm³/h, which will be used for steel cold rolling.

The contract marked another breakthrough of SMC in large and high purity nitrogen generation, it has also approved the leadership and advanced technology of SMC in PSA Nitrogen Generation Industry. In addition, SMC has updated its own records again: the project will bring the biggest single Nitrogen Plant in the world, as well as the biggest Multi-PSA Nitrogen Plants in the world…
